Mill owner attempts to sodomize boy, arrested | | | M S Nazki Early Times Report
Poonch, June 22: An atta chakki mill owner attempted to sodomize an eleven year old boy when he had gone to take a bath at a river in Mandi, the sources said here today. Abid Hussain Son of Tufail Shah, a 5th class student of Ari village had gone to take a bath in Mandi river. An elderly person Mohd Zaman Sheikh of Ari B who has his chakki atta mill nearby the river manage to get the boy inside the room of mill where he attempted repeatedly to sodomize the boy. But the boy cried and in a bid to keep the boy quite he tied him inside the mill and beat him profusely the sources said. Other person who were also bathing at the river bank somehow came to know about the heinous act of the mill owner and rescued the boy who by that time had fallen unconscious. The boy was immediately rushed to SDH Mandi for treatment where his condition was stated stable by the doctors, the sources said. A complaint in this regard was also lodged in Police Station, sources added. Despite repated calls to SHO Mandi MM Mirza did not pick up the phone who allegedly want to hush up the case due to mill onwer's influence but when contacted DySP Headquarters Poonch Majeeb-ur-Rehman told Early Times that an FIR has been registered in Police station Mandi vide No. 54 under section 342/323 RPC. The mill owner has been arrested by the police and started investigation, the DySP added. Meanwhile people of the area condemned the unholy act of Mill owner and urged to concerned authorities to punish the guilty as warranted by the law of the land. |
