Despite CEO’s clear order to 'attaché' to join original posting, many remained glued 6/22/2016 11:47:57 PM Early Times Report Doda June 22: Taking cognizance of appearing of news regarding the detachment of teachers working in various offices of Education department like office of Chief Education Officer (CEO), Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) and DIET Doda since last decade, the CEO Doda in a significant move has issued order with clear instructions to join their original place of posting yet many are glued to 'privileged postings'. Sources within education department said, " taking a strict action to curb the attachment culture, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda has issued a fresh order vide CEO/D /legal 9556-95 dated 20-06-2016 with reference to Government Order No:-194 Edu of 2014 dated 30-05-2016 and Director School Education Jammu no:-DSE/j/legal/15502-6 dtd 07-06-2016. They said as majority of teachers still were managing their privileged postings but new order has been issued with clear instructions to join their original place of posting. Meanwhile various organizations has questioned why the writ petition titled Tilak Raj and others v/s State and other have been exempted from this order. They said it seems that this order has been issued by taking due care of Kismat Singh DRG IED, his brother and other relatives etc. Organizations like DDF and AISF doda has demanded in-depth enquiry about how this influential DRG by using his brothers influence manage to save his and his family. The NGOs have appealed to Education Minister to issue the order for Financial Audit of IED component since the inception of the scheme. They alleged that the said official had embezzled Crores of funds which were meant for poor disabled children. ishtiaq Ahmed President DDF said that they have taken up matter with Education Minister Nayeem Akhter and also have requested Principal DIET to implement the order in letter and spirit by relieving all the attached teachers working as CRP's working illegally with immediate effect. He also demanded for the detachment of all the teaching officials who are working since last 10 years in these offices. ZEO Ghat instead of detaching the teachers has attached more than half a dozen teachers in the office.
