104 bovines rescued, 3 arrested | | | Early Times Report RAMBAN, June 22: Police claimed to have rescued 104 bovines and arrested three bovine smugglers in Chaderkot area. According to press release, the arrested person has been identified as Mohammad Tariq son of Hohd Ayoub resident of RS Pura Jammu. During checking of the vehicle, 24 bovines were found to be loaded, were being smuggled from Jammu towards valley without legal permission. In another incident, during routine patrol at Dalwas Area, police party intercepted two persons, having flock of Bovines, comprising 80 Bovine animals. On enquiry, it was established that both of them are bovine smugglers and were trying to smuggle bovines on foot from Jammu towards Srinagar. The persons arrested have been identified as Mohammad Aslam son of Guddu resident of RS Pura, Jammu and Rafaqat Ali son of Mohd Hussain resident of Anantnag. Both of them have been arrested and put under bars at Police Station Chanderkot under FIR No. 33/2016 U/S 188 RPC. |
