SAMBA, June 23: National Incredible Literacy Mission (NILM) organized drugs addiction awareness camp at Baba Chamliyal near International Border located in Ramgarh area of district Samba. In the camp approximately 300 people participated.
During the camp, Sunny Kapahi Society Development Officer, NILM Samba gave a detailed lecture on drugs addiction treatment through Yoga. He said that drugs are degrading youth of the state and he requested the youth to stop taking tobacco, cigarette and alcohol that is injurious to health. Preeti Bajaj SDO informed the gathering about the side effects of drugs and told people about the free drug addiction treatment and counseling centre which is governed by their NGO at Patel Bazaar, Jammu. |
