Encroachment alleged on 'Shamshan Ghat' at Ari 6/23/2016 11:47:40 PM MS Nazki Early Times Report Mendhar, June 23: local of Ari locality in Poonch have alleged encroachment of Shamshan Ghat (crematorium) by some unscrupulous elements. Reports said that land of Shamshan Ghat as per records since 1947 in 25 Kanals whilst half of land has been encroached by some influential people. They said that the revenue official -concerned Patwari allegedly seems to have been in hands in gloves with the alleged encroachers of the land. Following the reports about resentment among locals, a police party headed by SDPO Mendhar Shahid Naeem, SHO Anzar Mir and incharge P/P Ari SI Sameer Bhat rushed to the spot and pacified the people who were protesting against alleged encroachment. They assured the protestors that none will be allowed to encroach Shamshan Ghat, land.
