Neeraj demands action against erring official for beating activists | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 23: Neeraj Gupta JKNPP leader strongly raised the voice against the brutal attack of Police on him and his associates. He said that the on 16.06.2016 his party deputed him for inspection of the circumstances prevailing in the city due to desecration of the religous place. He was accompanied with the two other members of the JKNPP. He said that when he visited Nanak Nagar Shiv Temple he met with the committee members of the Temple and raised the issue of desecration of temples. After meeting when he came out of the temple, the Addl. Commissioner came and he immediately approached the Addl. Commissioner so that he can talk to him on the issue of desecration of the Hindu Temple. He told the Addl. Dy. Commissioner that the administration has not taken enough security measures for the protection of the Temples which results in happening of this heinous act. He was politely discussing the matter with the Addl. Commissioner. All of a sudden fifty to sixty members of the police force attack him in presence of huge crowd of more than three hundred persons including old age persons, ladies and children etc. He demanded that the S.H.O. Gandhi Nagar and Addl. Dy. Commissioner should be immediately suspended from their services and police protection should be provided to him. |
