KPs deputation calls on Union Minister N Sitaraman 6/24/2016 12:16:45 AM Early Times Report Jammu, June 23: A deputation of Panun Kashmir, led by its President VK Bhat and Convenor Ravinder Jalali called upon Union Minister Nirmala Sitaraman during Vikas Parv rally in Jammu yesterday. According to press release, the president of Punun Kashmir V K Bhat apprised the Minister of nefarious designs of the State government of putting up the helpless Kashmiri Pandits in transit accommodation in Valley before being transported to their native places in valley as if the Kashmiri Pandits are non-living commodity, which the entire Kashmiri Pandit community out rightly rejects. The convenor of the party Ravinder Jalali made it clear to the minister that the present arrangement of the government under the return and rehabilitation programme of KPs, which perhaps has the concurrence of central government of putting up the KPs in the pigeon hole transit camps in valley is not acceptable to the community. The president of the party reiterated its demand before minister for a separate homeland as envisaged in the Margdarshan Resolution passed by Kashmiri Pandits in 1991 and appealed to the Minister to convey to the Prime Minister that no less than separate Homeland is acceptable to KPs.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
