Fisheries Deptt organized awareness camp 6/24/2016 12:45:27 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar, June 23: The fisheries department today organized a day long awareness camp today at Dimgi Bhatan village of Block Nagseni in Kishtwar District which witnessed an overwhelming response from the locals. Speaking on the occasion Assistant Director Fisheries District Kishtwar stressed on adopting Fish Culture as a source of livelihood, besides also highlighted importance of conservation of aquatic biodiversity. He further informed that 15 Nos of Carp Fish Ponds and 11 nos of Trout rearing units has been established in Private sector in the District till date while 52 nos of registered Fishermen has been covered under Low Cost Housing Scheme.
