Jammu, July 1: on the occasion of Doctor's Day, Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr Bias Dev and Neurologist Dr Hardeep Bhaghat held a medical cum awareness camp at samba and 100 patients were examined.
The community hall Pacci Mandi Samba was the place of this social activity in which many people took the benefit of advice of Dr Bias Dev and Dr Hardeep. Dr Bias Dev, who has gained experience by working at various centres of the country and is serving GMC, Jammu at present is also a good social worker and is working on prevention of lifestyle diseases and many other social causes.
The medical camp was inaugrated in the august presence of senior members of civil society included Raj Kumar Badyal Retd Registrar Cooperatives Bal Krishan Thappa Retd BDO, Jagdish Thappa Retd ZEO, Capt Inder Singh president Rajput Sabha, Bhaghwaan Dass president Ravi Dass Sabha, Ravi Khajuria president Brahman Sabha, Seniors members of civil society who are octagerians and still fit and healthy spoke on the occasion to the younger members of the society and shared their experience and lifestyle with younger population which has helped them to keep fit.
Dr Bias called upon the younger generation for adopting better lifestyle for having long and disease free life. His talk was very motivating and informative to all especially the younger students who were specially called by the management of Adarsh Vidyapeeth School for attending the talk. Free medicines were distributed to all the patients.
The social activity was whole heartedly supported by social workers Raghunandan Khajuria who has arranged for testing blood sugar of all visitors who were above 40 years. Satish Dutta vice president Teachers Association, Surender Dubey, Post Warden Civil Defence, Rotarion Raman Gupta, Rajnish Pargal, Anuraj, Bittu Khajuria, Jitender Dubey, Ajay Thappa of KC Public School and many other young energetic volunteers has contributed in this social activity. |
