APs in Physics: 73% from Valley, 27% from Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 1: The recent list of selected Assistant Professors in Physics subject, issued by Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC), has cast serious aspersions on the ratio of selected candidates from Kashmir as against their counter parts in Jammu. A cursory look at the selection list has found that 73 percent selected candidates are from Kashmir province against only27 percent from Jammu province. According to the selection list, out of 26 selected Assistant Professors in Open Merit, 19 candidates are from Srinagar and only 7 are from Jammu province. The nineteen selected Assistant Professors in Physics from Srinagar province are Guadsia Gani of Palpora Sonwar, Irfam Ahmed Bhat of Rafiabad Rohama, Gowhar Hussain Bhat of Kulgam Banow Bogund, Nazir Ahmad Ganaie Washbagh Pulwama, Mubashir Hamid Ganaie of Washbagh Pulwama, Mubashir Ahmed Mir of Bandipora, Mudashir Hussain Dar of Bijbehara, Inayat Rasool Bhat of Fateh Kadal. Riyaz Ahmed Bhat of Masjid Khrew Pampora, Raja Nisar Ali of Khanyar, Ghazala Anjum of Kulgam, Syed Rafi Ahmad of Karimabad Pulwama, Mohammad Hanif of Bemina, Abida of Ashipora, Firdous Ahmad Khan of Pulwama, Muzamil Ahmad Teli of Narwah Pulwama, Mohamamd Altaf of Kreeri Baramulla, Mohammad Ilyas Lone of Yaripora Kulgam and Irshad Ahmed Bhat of Bandipora. Moreover the seven selected candidate from Jammu province are Ahsan Elahi of Gujjar Nagar Jammu, Ajay Kumar Sharma of Dayalachak Kathua, Ratika Sharma of Talab Tillo, Amit Kumar of WNo. 2 Jammu, Shivinder Singh of Paloura Top, Suresh Sharma of Hiranagar, Chetan Sharma of Bishnah. Moreover in the waiting list of the Assistant Professors for the Open Merit category both the candidates are from Srinagarprovince namely Aashiq Hussain Shah of Bandipora and Feroq Ahmad Mir of Ganderbal. |
