Jammu, July 1: M K Arya, Director, has assumed the charge of Regional Director ESIC Jammu & Kashmir Region.
Official spokesperson said, "Mr Arya has taken over this charge from acting Regional Director (I/c), Sindo Ram.
"Mr Arya started his career in ESIC as Deputy Director in the year 1996 and has worked in Central Secretariat Service for 9 years and in Bank of India for 3 years, official spokesperson said, adding, "before joining as RD ESIC, J&K he was Director (Administration) in ESIC Directorate (Medical) Delhi." During his tenure as Director (Admn) in Directorate (Medical) Delhi. Arya worked for upliftment of the Dispensaries in terms of providing better infrastructure and services to the Insured Persons and contributed in starting of various new services in the Dispensaries.
On his assuming charge Officers & staff of Office of RD ESIC, J&K welcomed Arya who is 6th Regional Director ESIC, J&K. ESIC is a statutory body working under the aegis of Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India as one of the premier Social Security organisations under ESI Scheme in coordination with Jammu & Kashmir State Government.
Pertinently under ESI Scheme the Social Security is being extended to around 4.75 lakh beneficiaries of Jammu & Kashmir State through Regional Office, three Branch Offices, one ESIC Hospital, eight ESI Dispensaries and one ESIC MDDC. |
