| Locals of Chatha, Hakal protest against PDD deptt | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 21: In protest against the non-installation of transformer for the last seven days at Hakal Pind, the people of Panchayats Chatha and Hakal staged a demonstration against PDD Department
The protesters led by Avtar Singh and Punjab Singh, Chairmen Chatha and Hakal Panchayats respectively, blocked the road for 2 hours on main highway at Karan Bagh Chowk.
People raised slogans against PDP-BJP coalition government and PDD department for total failure to provide electricity to their areas the protesting people alleged that a deputation had met the Executive Engineer of PDD for installation of transformer and restricting untimely cuts but no action has been taken by the department.
Avtar Singh stated that if no action is taken, then there shall be a massive protest against department of PDD. Punjab Singh requested the government that necessary action should be taken for providing relief to the general public. |
