Jammu, July 21: President Rinku Gill, Civic Safai Karanchari Union castigated Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation for suspending and terminating services of Safaikaramcharis' here today.
Addressing a press conference here today Gill said that Commissioner in month of May had assured the SKC's after signing an agreement that their demands would be fulfilled within two months. "But now after more than two months no action has been taken in this direction", he said, adding that the SKC were already angry with the administration and commissioner of JMC and under these conditions the harsh action taken by the Commissioner further frustrated the SKC's. The President Rinku Gill (SKU) stated us that he don't want to take any action right now because of the ongoing Amarnath yatra So, he appealed the Govt. of J&K and Municipal Administration & all the citizens of the state to solve this problem and fulfill all our demand as the govt. assured us to be fulfiiled otherwise he will have to take an action.
"Unfortunately, the Commissioner suspending permanent Safaikaramchari's and terminating the casual labour and NGO Safaikaramcharis who were serving in JMC from 6-7 years", he alleged.
Gill was accompanied by Manga, Gulzar Masih, Jyolas, Rajinder, Jang Bahacjur, Kulvinder, Ashwani, Bagicha, Rakesh and Rajesh, Sonu, Vicky Lawrence, Koushalya, Pooja, Neelam, Kirna, Parveen, Sheela, Geeta, Raj Rani, Shobha and Anita. |
