DSS demands immediate withdrawal of secretariat employees of Jammu region | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 21: A meeting of Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) Executive committee was held at Sabha Bhawan Jammu to discuss the serious law & order situation in Kashmir which has affected the whole State particularly Shree Amarnath Yatra. Various speakers expressed their concern on the situation and held responsible to the Central and the State Govts. for the present situation. The members noted with concern the frequent disruptions of the functioning of the Govt. because of strikes/bandhs called by the separatists particularly when the secretariat functions from Srinagar, as a result, this not only makes the Jammu employees insecure and vulnerable to attacks by the antinational elements but also make Govt. and secretariat inaccessible to the people of Jammu. The problems further aggravate, when the govt. puts ban of telecommunications, internet- etc. There was a system of summer/winter Secretariat to process the cases of respective Divisions, but that system also stands discontinued, Dogra Sadar Sabha demands immediate withdrawal of Jammu employees and start of functioning of Secretariat at Jammu, so that people do not have to face any problem for their cases of Secretariat level. Dogra Sadar Sabha also demands immediate restoration of internet and other communication services which have been discontinued and the people of Jammu province have been put to a great financial loss. |
