| People Protest against PHE department | | | Early Times Report
Samba, July 21: People of village Nanke Chack and Baderi held a strong protest demonstration against Public Health Engineering Department at Nanke Chack chowk for burning of motor pump. The protest was led by Sarpanch Romesh Kumar.
A large number of men, women and children assembled in Nanke Chak Chowk and raised slogan and shouting against officers of the said department. People alleged that since last ten days the department has failed to restore the water supply in these areas.
During peaks summer day's old age men and children are facing a lot of problems without water, but department puts only fake promise to the people.
They have demanded from the PHE Minister Sham Lal Choudhary to immediately shift the local staff from this village.
"The permanent employees of PHE department of this village remain busy in private work and pressure the casual workers of this department, said, Romesh Kumar, Sarpanch of this village.
Among other those present in this protest Mukesh Kumar, Anil Kumar, Neeta Devi, Neeru Kumar and others. |
