7/21/2016 11:03:21 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, July 21: The protest demonstration of Prime Minister's Package Employees and employees of batch 2007 & 09 working in valley continued today on the seventh consecutive day here at Relief Commissioner's office in support of their demand of adjustment in Jammu after their transit camps at many places across valley have been targeted by the mob in recent violence. Protestors also called on BJP leaders to seek redressal of issues.
Hundreds of aggrieved employees including women were demanding justice to their demands after everything went wrong in their favour in recent violence in valley. They alleged that state machinery has completely collapsed to protect them during mob violence and whatever they have experienced it seems not only difficult but very impossible for them to resume their duties back in valley. Holding placards and tricolour in their hands, the protesting employees were raising slogans like " we want justice, bring us back, Es Zor Zulam Ki Cheki Me Sangrash Hamara Nara Hi, Kashmir waps nahein jayein gey etc."
"The posts created under PM's employment package are additional and it won't affect anyone if we shall be transferred to anyplace." said, Rakesh Pandita, one of the protesters. "I have been appointed in valley in 2007 and many of friends in 2009, we too are victims of recent violence," said, Vimal Pandita, He added they have also seen violence in 2008 and with the result it was their second migration in last eight years. "I want to know from the government how many times we have to flee from valley for safety," he added. The protesting employees made an appeal to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister for Home Affairs Raj Nath Singh to address the grievances and concerns of the employees as soon as possible so that they could not suffer any more. Meanwhile, a delegation of protesting employees has met President Displaced District Kashmir Chand Ji Bhat at BJP office to express their views and demands aftermath of the violence.
