| | Kathua, July 21: 11th Self defence training module for young girls was organized by District Police Kathua. The training module was organized at Bharti Palace Nagri to facilitate the female youth from Nagri and its adjoining rural area. About 160 girls students and local girls are participating and taking benefits of Self defence techniques. The training module was inaugurated by Dy. SP HQRS Ajay Sharma. On the occasion Dy. SP (Pros) Rakesh Sambyal Co-ordinatior, Inspr. Amit Sangra including prominent citizens Sarpanch Darshan Kumar, Anil Singh, Hari Dutt Shishu, Staff members of different institutions and other respectable citizens were present. The resource persons namely Suraj Bhagat, Gursharan Kumar, Tara Rajput, Rajni Verma, Rubina Bano, Rutanjali Dogra, Palak Bhargav and Manisha Devi gave demonstration in front of all the participants and aware them about the importance of self defence skills in their life. All the participants are showing keen interest in the ongoing training module. During the occasion, people of the area express gratitude to SSP Kathua Neeva Jain for such a great initiative taken by her and especially Anti Drug drive launched by her to eradicate drug menace. |
