Token strike of NGEU enters 35th day 7/26/2016 10:58:45 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 26: The token strike of four hours of Non Gazzeted Employees Union of Jammu University (NGEU) entered 35th day today amid slogans in favour of demands. The gathering was addressed by Vijay Kumar, President of the Union who lauded the unity of the employees which stood like a rock during this sweltering heat in the protest. He regretted that instead of solving the issues the University Authorities are hell bent in anti-employees propaganda in the public and higher authorities regarding our peaceful agitation. He denounced "No Work No Pay" order of the Vice-Chancellor, as the employees are on token strike of four hours and there is no-lock-out of the offices and warned authorities to solve the burning issues at the earliest. The students of University Campus have suffered due to close of messes. Today i.e. 26.07.2016 the President NGEU issued a formal order in the interest of students of University Campus who resume the services of the mess of the hostels. The students have given their full support to NGEU.
