14 bovine animals rescued, truck seized 7/26/2016 11:22:26 PM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, July 26: Udhampur police foiled one attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued 14 bovine animals at Jakhani near here on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. Reports said that based on reliable information, a police party of Police Station Udhampur laid a surprise naka near Jakhani and intercepted one Truck bearing registration No JK02AS-9867, which was on his way towards Srinagar. During the thorough search, the vehicles found loaded with 14 bovine animals, who were rescued while vehicles was seized however driver managed to escape.
