Elections of Cross LoC Trade deferred Traders hail formation of new committee 7/26/2016 11:24:33 PM Early Times Report POONCH, July 26: A group of traders under the leadership of Mohd Amin Magrey and Imtiaz Salaria today said that administration on the intervention of MLA Haveli Shah Mohd Tantray and MLC Yashpaul Sharma has decided to defer the elections of Cross LoC Trade and decided to form a committee. While taking to media persons, Mohd Amin Magrey said that some mafia traders did their best to spoil the trade and they were on the verge of conducting secret elections but timely intervention by MLA Haveli S M Tantray and Yashpaul Sharma helped a large number of traders and unemployed youth who are waiting for registration of their firms. Imtiaz Salaria also said that DDC Poonch, on the directions of MLA Haveli has directed Custodian Chakan da Bagh Mohd Tanveer not to conduct elections and directed him to call a meeting of all traders on August 1. He said that the trade body is thankful to MLA Haveli and MLC Yashpaul Sharma for their role in the interest of public of Poonch. The traders said that few vested interests have spoiled the trade as they wanted trade to confined within them. Nishu Gupta also spoke on the occasion and said that by this action of MLA Haveli and DDC Poonch, they are hopeful that all the new firms will get registration in addition to solving all outstanding issues of traders. He said that a committee is in the best interest of all Traders and all the traders are waiting for formation of new committee for the smooth functioning of trade.
