Early Times Report

Anantnag, Aug 2: Exposing the tall claims of security agencies, Militants having affiliation with Lashker-e-Toiba continue to make appearances in anti-India rallies being held in curfew bound areas of South Kashmir.
Sources said that this afternoon, two Lashker-e-Toiba militants made a dramatic appearance in a rally held by Jammat-e-Islami in Qimoh area of Kulgam district.
They were identified as Touseef Ahmad and Majid Zargar. Both of them are said to be locals. Militants, according to sources, addressed the gathering and urged people to refrain from informing police and other security agencies.
"We have left comforts for you people, so if you can't help and join us but please desist from informing police and other security agencies about our presence," they pledged amid anti-India slogans.
Pertinently, LeT Commander Abu Dujana, mastermind of Udamphur attack, made his appearance in Kreemabad area of Pulwama just two days ago.
Earlier, addressing a gathering in Faislabad Pakistan, LeT Chief Hafiz Mohmmad Sayeed admitted that a militant commnader affiliated with his outfit led the funeral procession of slain Hizb Commnder Burhan Wani in Tral, killed by security forces in Bumdoora village of Kokernag on 8th of last month. Such appearances of militants in rallies held across curfew bound South Kashmir have not only exposed the security grid but have also exposed the hand of militants in the prevailing unrest. Meanwhile, rallies were held in length and breadth of South Kashmir's Anantnag and Kulgam district. Reports said that rallies and road shows were organized in Kanelwan, Bijbehara, Srigufwara, Katsoo, Mattan, Krengsoo, Qaimoh, Khudwani, and Kokernag and in several areas of Qazigund. Five youth sustained injuries during clashes with security forces in Achabal area of Anantnag on Tuesday evening. Injured were shifted to Anantnag district Hospital for treatment.
