rajouri, Aug 2: People of Bela colony and traders held protest demonstration against the concerned department and district authorities for allegedly neglecting their locality as water overflowed into lanes during rainy season affecting day to day business in the area.
Addressing the protestors Protestors Zaheer Charak local leader from J&K National Panther Party (JKNPP) and youth president Waqar Khan alleged district administration deliberately ignoring the people of area for reasons best known to concerned departments.
"Present regime has completely failed to provide basic facilities to people of Rajouri and in a similar case of neglect a large number of people are facing problem of protection wall especially in W-3 Rajouri. They demanded from district administration to take action stern action against Irrigation/Flood Control Dept. They alleged that it happens every year now and the concerned officials do not bother about the plight of the local traders.
Abdul Rashid Bhat, Bashir Bhat,Sohail Manhas, Zuffar Javid, Ibrar Ahmed, Izmam Ul Haq, Irfan Bhat,Bilal Ahmed,Chotu Lone and Muneer Lone also addressed in this protest. |
