Ram Madhav & Co to prepare roadmap for talks with separatists?
Patnitop meet
8/7/2016 10:46:19 AM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 6: A number of BJP Union ministers, BJP national leaders and RSS bigwigs today gathered at Patnitop for two days to take stock of the situation in the restive Kashmir Valley and parts of Jammu province, including Kishtwar, Poonch, Banihar and Doda. A few local BJP leaders were also there to give inputs.
Sources within the party revealed that the purpose of the two-day meaet, organized by India Foundation of which Madhav is one of the directors is to “prepare a roadmap for talks with Kashmiri separatists” and to “persuade them to give up the path of violence and start parleys with the Union Government to discuss what they want to discuss and what they actually want from the centre”.
Sources further reveal that “there was a section among the participants which vouched for a dialogue with Kashmiri separatists”, and added that “they could prepare a roadmap which could even compromise the Indian stand on J&K”.
“None talked about the people of Jammu province. None referred to the people of Ladakh. None cared to reflect on the plight and demands of internally-displaced Kashmiri Hindus, including those who quit the Valley last month to save their lives. None talked about the refugees from Pakistan and POJK. Most of the participants only talked Kashmir and of the measures which should be take to win over the restive Kashmiri Muslims.,” sources said, further revealing that “they were concerned only with Kashmir and Kashmiri Muslims”.
Another very credible source revealed that one BJP minister on Thursday told the Hindu deputation from Kishtwar that “they had instructions not to take any action against those who raised anti-India and pro-Pakistan slogans in Kishtwaron Thursday and Friday, saying action against them could further aggravate the situation”. The most frightening revelation which was also attributed to the said BJP minister was that ‘there was no police in areas like Kupwara and that the separatists are ruling the roost there”.
One has to wait till tomorrow to see what roadmap Ram Madhav & Co finally devised in collaboration with other participants, including number three in the RSS.
