Jammu Aug 6; Tree plantation annual activity of Shivalik members of Shivalik maintaining and adventure sports club(SM&ASC) carried out tree plantation an annual activity of the club during the monsoon season by planting trees at Bhair Devsthan near village Kattal Battal in Nagrota.The saplings of sacred trees of Banyan Peepa, Amla, Bilwa Arjun were planted taking into consideration the sanctity of the place where a large number of people of various community of the state visit to pay obedience to their Kul Devta located at the Bank of River Tawi (Surya Putri) in picturesque surrounding worth visiting. Empty plastic bottles, rapper of chips rapers were catered in the area so the club members to maintain clean at the holy place and to check pollution of forest as well as River Tawi decided to donate Dustbin and fixing along the route. \Meanwhile Devsthan Bawa Bhair Dev Trust Chairman Balwant Singh, General Secretary Romesh Sharma, Member Om Parkash Sharma, Sat Paul Sharma and Gurdass Sharma thanks club for their noble cause in planting the sacred trees in the world famous religious place. President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC)Subash Shastri, senior founder member of the club Rajesh Bhagat, along with Sunil Tagotra, President Om Parkash Gupta,General Secretary Rakesh Goswami, Ravinder Bhardwaj, Raju Sharma, Pankaj Bhardwaj, Mohan Lal,Gourav Sharma and Sumeet Anand participated in the well attended function. |
