Jammu, Aug 6: Fifteen passengers were injured when a bus they were travelling in turned turtle today in Reasi area.
Police said that accident took place when the bus which was on its way to Judda area from Arnas and while reaching near Ghosal, the driver lost control over the vehicle and it turned turtle.
The injured have been identified as Chinta Devi (55) wife of Makhan Lal of Lamsora, Shakuntla Devi (27) wife of wife of raj Kumar of Sarundi, Shastru Devi (65) wife of Rikhi Ram of Sarundi, Zaman Din (46) son of Shubhan of Dhanode, Sher Singh (55) son of Sonmal of Dhanode, Altaf Hussain (30) son of Mohd Shafi of Dhanode, Tahira Begum (30) wife of Farooq Ahmed of Dhanode, Shakti Devi (51) wife of Kartar Chand of Mari Reasi, Zabida Begum (24) wife of Usman of Dhanode, Shazmin (2) daughter of Farooq Ahmed of Dhanode, Ishri Devi (39) wife of Suram Chand of Surangdhar, Suram Chand (60) son of Mallah of Surangdhar, Sunita Devi (38) wife of Makhan of Lower Lamsora, Kaku (8) son of Farooq of Dhanode and Sumit Kumar (4) son of Raj Kumar of Sarundi.
All the injured have been shifted to Arnas hospital and police have registered case in this connection. |
