Cong leaders resent over Govt's failure in dissimilar fields

kathua, Aug 10: Taking dig over state as well central government for its failure in dissimilar fields Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Ex-Minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said that both governments shedding away the poll promises had left the public high and dry. The voters who voted for PDP and BJP are feeling ashamed and helpless for their doings.
Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said these words while addressing the gathering of public meeting at village Sallan. Congress Committee Kandi Area Billawar had organised meeting of party activists wherein District Congress Committee President Former MLC Subash Chander Gupta presided over whereas Dr Manohar Lal was chief guest on the occasion.
During the meeting, the representatives of dissimilar villages raised various problematic issues concerning CAPD, drinking water, health, education, irrigation and others.
Dr Manohar Lal while expressing his views said that both the governments, at centre as well at state had failed to fulfill the demands of the people. Castigating PDP and BJP, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said that in lust of power both the parties had formed government. Showing strong resentment for state government failure in restoring water, power and ration supply in different parts of the district he said that conditions are worst in Kandi belt.
Subash Gupta castigating PDP-BJP coalition government responsible for the hardships of the people of state said that both political parties are self-centered and Congress is the only secular party. "Sooner the public would feel the effects of these political parties and Congress would again restore its position", he added.
He further said that it is due to the lackadaisical attitude of government that Baba Amarnath yatra had badly affected. The unrest in Kashmir since one month had badly affected the social and economic atmosphere of the state. Subash Gupta giving reference of damages to protection Bandh constructed across Ujh River demanded government for immediate repair.
and compensation to farmers whose crop has been damaged ,Karam Chand Khajuria, Narsingh Dass, Kundan Khajuria, Ramesh Gupta, Ram Nath Sharma, Tara Chand, Madan Lal, Suriender Singh, Vijay Tagotra, Kamal Singh, Kuldeep Gupta, Kulbhushan Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Vinay Sharma, Laadi Khajuria, Dalbir Singh, Romy Sharma, Aniket Khajuria, Jaimal Dass, Naseeb Chand, Kishore Kumar, Raj Kumar, Swarn Singh and many others were present on the occasion.
