AJCSF hails initiatives of Center, State Government on Kashmir turmoil | | | Early Times Report jammu, Aug 10: All Jammu Civil Society Forum (AJCSF) welcomed the statements of the Prime Minister Narindra Modi after breaking his long silence over Kashmir, the visit by Home Minister Raj Nath Singh and urgings of the J&K chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. Addressing press conference, convener Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak said the that all three have not been able to break away from the traditional grip of 'K' centric politics; thereby ignoring the vast bigger regions of Jammu and Ladakh which are indirectly suffering the curses of resultant non-governance, apathy and continue to get ignored. The snapping of all commercial activity in Kashmir has put the Jammu region at greater loss. The Forum expressed deep concern over the continued losses of human lives in an unprecedented long drawn period of curfew/Bandhs that has now lasted over a month, paralyzing life ending into chaos and persistent state of suffering for the poor masses. The people who have already been pushed to the wall for losses of their daily earnings and children deprived of education are frustrated, dejected and hapless. |
