PVC seeks revocation of illegal attachment of teachers’

Bani, Aug 10: Pahari Vikas Committee (PVC) sought revocation of alleged illegal attachment of three teachers by Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kathua, here today.
The PVC also submitted a memorandum to SDM Bani. The protesters staged massive protest against CEO Kathua and ZEO Bani before the office of SDM Bani. The chief pattern Pahari Vikas Committee Bani Advocate Rakesh Thakur led the protest.
Advocate Thakur informed SDM that the three teachers where posted in Bangal high school but after few days department attached one of them in ZEO office Bani, second in Middle School Neka and another in Basholi and they withdrawal their salary from Bangal high school. He said despite of strict ban on Teachers' attachment, CEO Kathua attached teachers illegally that smells favoring and menace. The protesters said," it is great lose of students and difficult for school management to run school besides this, Bangal high school shown very poor result from last many consecutive years." It is not unknown to anyone even CEO Kathua that the school gave zero to ten percent academic result because of insufficient staff in the school. The protesters said the matter was come into the notice of MLA Bani but he always gave deaf ears to grievances that pushed the future of students into darkness.
Advocate Thakur said that government made the policy and issued a circular for the cancellation of attachments and another side CEO Kathua has made such attachments under political pressure imposed by MLA Bani to make his relatives comfort, easy.
Advocate Thakur said the PVC is the voice of Pahari people and could not tolerate such types of discrimination right to education is fundamental right and administration is bound to secure this right on priority.
