Labour Dept conducts surprise checking 9/6/2016 11:15:58 PM Early Times Report Ramban, Sept 6: In its commitment for eradication of child labour menace the Department of Labour Ramban conducted surprise checking of various places, here today. During the checking the inspection team led by Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) Ramban Ganshyam Basotra visited different Dhamas, Tea stalls, Butchery Shops at Chanderkote and Peerah Dalwas area and detected two children on spot. They issued notices as per law to the employers. While speaking during the inspection Basotra informed that the department is committed for the well-being of these children and warned the employers to face the penalties. He also informed that all of us have the responsibility to save these working children and provide them better future.
