Shiksha Niketians participated in debate cum drawing competition 9/6/2016 11:17:20 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 6: Students of Shiksha Niketan participated in debate cum drawing competition on the theme "Services of Himalayas", organized by J &K Almi Khudai Khidmatgar Association (AKKA) Jammu here today. According to press release, on this occasion, the poem recitation competition among the students of different houses of Class 2nd was also organized in the school premises. The students of Class 2nd participated whole heartedly and presented different thematic poems along with proper gestures and beautiful expressions. All the students were seen enthusiastic. Students from 11th Class participated in the debate competition and the students from 8th to 10th class participated in the drawing competition. The programme was hoisted by the students of 11th Class Garima Badhan and Dharishti Thappa and the speakers were escorted by Jasbir Kour (Lect. of English dept.). Among all the participants, Milanpreet of Shanti House got first position, Divyansh of Gandhi House got second position and Samreet of Amar House got third position in poem recitation competition. Meanwhile three best speakers were also awarded for Debate competition.
