| APD visit: VHP reiterates 'abrogation of Art 370' only solution to K-issue | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 6: Maintaining that genesis of Kashmir crisis lies in partition of the country when Hindu migrants from Muzaffrabad (POK) were not allowed to settle in Kashmir but were rehabilitated in Jammu region, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Jammu & Kashmir reiterated that abrogation of Article 370 which from separatism took the Kashmir Valley towards separation- is only solution to Kashmir issue.
VHP said this while meeting with All Party Delegation during its visit to Jammu on Monday and underlined that problem further aggravated after the Islamic and anti national forces in Valley forced Kashmiri Hindus the indigenous people of Kashmir to leave Valley enmass.
Talking to reporters here today, VHP senior leader, Dr Rama Kant Dubey besides Article 370, also held the certain provisions made in Indian Constitutional responsible to develop the sense of separatism among Kashmiris. "VHP condemns the raising of any demand by any individual or organisation in any part of India including Kashmir, which is of anti national nature and demands a stern and lawful approach to handle such demands, he said, adding, "The protests which are going on in some parts of Kashmir have to be dealt by law enforcing agencies without any political intervention." Dr Dubey said VHP views Kashmir protests as part of a long term nefarious plan of anti national forces to clean the Kashmir valley from Hindus seeds which were sown immediately after the accession of the State with India and when Hindu migrants from Muzaffrabad (Pakistan) were not allowed to settle in Kashmir but were made to settle in Jammu. "The nefarious plan achieved its prime move in 1989, when these anti national Islamic terrorist organisations forced Kashmir based Hindus to leave the Kashmir Valley amass. Vishwa Hindu Parishad simultaneously salutes the spirit of Jammu people, who were always magnanimous in welcoming the displaced, right from 1947/48 to 1965 to 1989 and even after that when people from all communities migrated from Rajouri, Poonch and Doda districts in the wake of Islamic militancy. Vishwa Hindu Parishad also apprised about the nefarious designs taking shape in Rajouri, Poonch and erstwhile Doda district. He said in a country which saw its division on communal grounds in 1947, but had the privilege of having two prime ministers and one deputy Prime Minister from the West Pakistan refugees but the 1947 migrants who settled in Jammu have not seen the light of democracy as they are not even eligible to become the Panchayat members. Dr Dubey also said VHP is not against any kind of dialogue in principal, but repeated appeasement of anti antinational elements in Kashmir have resulted in disappointment among nationalist forces. "Hindu community has experienced a gross human rights violation from these protestors when Shri Amarnathji Yatra was forcefully stopped, pilgrims and service providers were harassed and man handled, he said adding, "this is a direct assault on freedom of religion." VHP has appealed the high powered delegation to immediately recommend setting up of a Nodal Office in Home Ministry in Delhi to be headed by minimum Jt Secy level (IAS) to look into such complaints and ensure that the guilty are punished without fail. |
