Jammu, Nov 6: GD Goenka Public School organized Sur Sangam in collaboration with Arohi Kala Sangeet Vidyalaya at Bal Niketan Aashram (Orphanage Home) Amphala, here today. According to press release Sur Sangam (devotional music program) commenced with the Saraswati Vandana by Amit followed by lightening of the lamp by our guests, followed by Bhajans like "Ragupati Ragav" by Aditya Dhar, "Teri aradhna karu" by Tanishka, "Shabad" by Swaranjot, "Saraswati V andana" by Manikdeep, "Ho kanha abh to murli ki" by Akriti, "Yeh mat kaho khuda say" by Harm, "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" by Urvi & Rajnandhni, "Tu pyaar ka sagar hai" by Sahar, "0 palan hare" by Divyani, "Teri hai zamin" by Vedika & Pargati was highly appreciated by the audience. Principal G.D. Goenka School speaking on the occasion said that Music is a form of communication. Music is also an effective, almost magical medium for learning and retaining information. |
