ReT Forum calls to gear up for November 10 protest 11/6/2016 10:40:37 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 6: A monthly Meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers' Forum Sunday held at Krishna Palace Udhampur under the chairmanship of state president Vinod Sharma and District President Lekh Raj Parihar. The meeting was attended by the delegates of the Forum from all the eleven zones of the district. While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma lambasted the Education department for its failure to resolve the issues of ReT cadre and thereby forcing them to come on road. Thousands of SSA teachers are without salary for last many months besides there is huge pendency of pay arears and DA arrears of these teachers in many districts and these teachers and their families were unable to celebrate holy festivals like Diwali , Eid etc which is matter great concern ,he said adding that instead of streamlining SSA salary , the department is leaving no stone unturned to harass the ReT cadre on the name of so called screening test and transfer policy and such harassment will not be tolerated at any cost. He stressed upon the ReT teachers at their respective district headquarters on November 10 as a mark of protest against all such harassments and ReTs of Jammu district will protest in front of SPD office Jammu. While speaking on the occasion Lekh Raj Parihar appealed all the ReTs of district Udhampur to come for protest on November 10 at CEO office at 10 a.m.sharp.
