Police raids Atta Chakki, recovers public ration 11/6/2016 10:55:44 PM Ashwani Sharma Early Times Report UDHAMPUR Nov 6: A private Chakki Mill (Atta chakki) was raided today by Udhampur Police following a specified tip off on Sunday and seized 130 bags of public ration being sold in black-market at Londana near Battal Ballian. According to the information, the chakki owner collected the ration from various dealers and packed it into the small packings of 5,10 20 kgs for sale in the black market. "The malpractice was going on for years", said Sohan Lal, a local. "We suffer a lot due to acute shortage of ration and whatever little we get is insufficient for the family for entire month" said yashpal, another local questioning how these black marketers get public ration to sell in black market. While contacted, AD CAPD told early Times that matter shall be investigated and guilty shall be brought to book. Dy SP head quarters confirmed the raid."
