JKNTUF supports protest call given by Govt Employees | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 6: JK National Trade Union Front (JKNTUF) today extended its support to protest call given by need base, causal labours and workers. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Mohammad Gafoor Dar State president of the J K National Trade Union Front along with Rajnder Kumar, Nazir Ahmed Molvi, Raj Singh, Vikram Jeet Singh and Ramesh Singh leaders of the front said that they endorse the protest/demonstration call given by the, Govt Employees Need base Causal labours, workers and Pensioners united platform of various trade unions on 8th November. The protest would be held in front of Divisional commissioner office Panama Chowk Jammu to press the state government for immediate settlement of the burning demands viz regularization policy for need base causal labours of all the departments engaged after 1994, Implementation of 7th pay commission to state government employees public sector worker and pensioner w.e.f January 2016 at par with central government employees. Dar said that since government of India has implemented 7th pay commission to its government employees and public sector workers due to which the price of essential commodities are touching the sky. "The working class of the state is suffering badly. The causal labours /need base workers working in various departments are struggling for their wages for year together without any regularization policy from the government despite of the assurance by state government on the floor of the house on several occasions but nothing positive has come out till date", he said. He appealed to state government employees, public sector workers and casual labours of all the departments to assemble under the banner of united platform and participate in the program of protest / demonstration on 8th November outside Divisional Commissioner office Jammu. |
