| Strength lifting championship inaugurated by Zulfkar Choudhary | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Nov 7: Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs minister, Zulfkar Choudhary today inaugurated strength lifting championship competition at Health and Fitness Centre Poonch.
According to press release, addressing youth and prominent citizen gathered on the occasion, Zulfkar Choudhary congratulated the youth and association for holding such a kind of championship for the first time in border district.
He said that youth is future of any region and stressed upon youth to participate in sports as sports are no longer neglected area but huge opportunities are waiting in sports. Citing recent examples of indian sportspersons who were all commoners from different parts of country brought laurels.
He said that youth of this border district has immense talent and association is doing great job in tapping such hidden talent. It is mentioned here that J&K Strength and lifting Association has provided such platforms to youth in past too. Minister also congratulated youth leaders involved in organising such events in this region particularly Imtiaz Salaria who is at forefront for cause of youth.
