Udhampur, Nov 7: Jammu and Kashmir State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Udhampur, celebrated its foundation day here at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Udhampur on Monday.
The program was started with the lighting of traditional lamps by the guests and scouts and guides Prathana by students. In this program 450 students from four schools viz Evergreen School, Common Public School, BBVP Hr. Sec. , Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School participated.
In this program students expressed their views on foundation day, they also presented Patriotic Songs, Janda Geet and Prarthana, related top all religions. Swami Chinmay Jyoti ji expressed her views that more and more students must join the scouts and guides because it plays a great role in the development of students.
Ashok Kumar said that founder of scouting was lord Beden Powell and today it has spread all over the world. It develops the self-confidence, patriotism, and encouragement in the students. Balwan Singh said that scouts and guides teachers in the play way method how to become a character and good citizen. |
