JAMMU, Nov 7: The two-day special workshop aimed at young and talented stuff of the state in twin events of Rifle and Pistol shooting concluded at Sports Stadium of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) at holy town of Katra in district Reasi. The specialised coaching sessions held under the guidance of international shooter and Arjuna Awardee, Samresh Jung. While sharing his thoughts with the learners, their parents and staff, the visiting shooting guide, Samresh said, "Hard work, seriousness, self discipline, confidence, determination are a must to become a good shooter. But at the same time, I must advise students to be equally serious about their studies, diet and posture."
Director Sports, Ashok Kumar said that the interaction by the most decorated international shooter like Samresh Jung with young students shall prove a milestone in achieving the desired goals. |
