Jammu, Nov 9: Members of ECO RIDERS distributed 400 hybrid fruit plants in Abhinav Theatre where a seminar was held on Guru Nanak Vichar Dhara Manavta Da Parteek.
ECO-RIDERS while distributing trees educated the people how pollution is germinating umpteen diseases and planting trees is the only major measure to save the environment and life on this planet. They said Delhi after Diwali is the best example from where other states can learn. The quick they learn the better will be the chances of healthy life. We realize that the trees are an effective way to prevent global warming and reduce pollution. So we have to celebrate each and every event of our life by adopting and planting trees.
Members of ECO RIDERS are focusing on planting a number of indigenous varieties of trees such as Mango, Amla, Leechi, Guava, Oranges, Lemon and many more. "The trees, when they grow up, will act as the protectors of the environment. It will give us immense satisfaction and also inspire the upcoming generations to continue the practice," said ECO RIDERS". As a part of the campaign, we will keep on promoting gifting of saplings as a cultural practice and also start an extensive campaign of planting trees in schools, colleges, public premises and other areas and educating the masses specially children by organizing seminars and presentations on devastating effects of pollution and how can we avoid it. |
