Jammu, Nov 9: A team of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) led by its Chief Organisation Secretary Shailender Tiwari of Jammu and Kashmir held an interaction session with students of Central University of Jammu - J&K in the Central University of Jammu- today. Speaking at the interaction session organised by the ABVP Jammu and Kashmir, Shalendra Tiwari said that ABVP is a democratic organisation of students for the students. Since its registration on July 9, 1949, ABVP has been working for the people of the Nation, especially students. Though it started as a small, humble organisation, ABVP is now the largest student organisation of the country. Students took big roles in the country's freedom struggle, he added. After independence, ABVP has been studying the changing roles of students in the society. Students' power was never a nuisance to the society. It rather played a big role in Nation building. As discussed in the interaction with Shalender Tiwari as there are so many problem related to students including Canteen issue in the Temporary Academic Block, Sanik Colony, Jammu , Discuss Hostel Realted Problems, No wifi for UG-PG students in the university premises, No Placement facilities for the students. Shalindera Tiwari said issues and problems of students can be understood only by students and it is the students who must work together to resolve their problems. ABVP- Unit,Central University of Jammu GM Ali ( Secretary Jammu Mahanagar), Rajinder Kumar (Incharge ABVP), Vikram Singh Jamwal (President) and were also present at the interaction session.
