Jammu Nov 10: The students and scholars in Jammu University today boycotted under the banner of National Secular Forum (NSF) against Vice Chancellor for supporting the sentiment of separatist forces and opposing the action of security forces. A complete shutdown was observed in the entire campus. The activists of NSF went across the different teaching departments and asked the students to voluntarily boycott the classes. Thereafter they took out a rally in the campus shouting slogan against the University administration and Vice Chancellor. Addressing the protesters here today Reshikesh Rana President University Unit NSF flayed the Vice Chancellor for replying to a question during a press conference yesterday where he said that Burhan Wani should had been captured alive and not eliminated as the same deteriorated the peaceful atmosphere in Kashmir Valley. "In the aftermath of Wani's killing large scale violence and unrest happened in the valley resulting in loss of lives and property. That's why it was important to arrest him alive, he explained."
