| Ret forum holds protest for SSA salary at District headquarters | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 10:All J&K ReT Teachers Forum today held day long protest demonstrations at all the district head quarters for the release of pending SSA salary which is pending for last 3 to 6 months in many Districts of the State. There is also a huge pendency of pay and DA arrears of regularized ReTs under SSA.
At Jammu, main protest was held in front of the Office of the State Project Director (SPD) , SSA where hundreds of ReT teachers gathered under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma , State vice president Bhupinder Singh, State Chief Coordinator Sukhdev Singh Sumbria , Provincial President Rajesh Jamwal and District President Subash Chander .
Vinod Sharma while addressing the protesters criticized the Govt. for its failure to provide the salaries to SSA teachers and forcing them to come on roads. He said that the families of of these teachers are on verge of starvation and they are unable to provide basic necessities to them. He demanded immediate release of their salaries and also sought the intervention of Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister in this regard and threatened to hold state vide protest if the SSA salaries are not streamlined at the earliest and harassment of ReTs on the name of screening test and transfer policy is not stopped . Later a memorandum of demands was submitted to the government through the SPD.
At Poonch ReT Teachers Forum members under the chairman ship of state general secretary Najam Jafri assembled at Prade Park and marched towards D.C Office Via C.E.O Office. They were shouting slogans against the Govt. which make them suffer for want of salary and other genuine issues like inclusion of service and demanded its immediate release.
At Udhampur hundreds of ReT Teachers led by District President Lekh Raj Parihar gathered at C.E.O. Office . Holding placards and shouting slogans they were demanding the immediate release of SSA salary and other arrears of SSA teachers and submitted a memorandum of demands to the government through D.C.
At Doda President Sajad Malik, Vice President Anita Kiran and Gen. Secy. Wahid wani led the protest demonstration of a large numbers ReT Teachers from C.E.O office to D.C office. Holding pla cards in their hands and shouting slogans in support of their demands they were demanding immediate release of SSA and also demanded stopping harassment of transferred ReTs . They also submitted a memorandum of demands to the government through the D.C. Doda.
At Ramban Distt. President Gulzabir Daing and Provincial Sr. Vice President Shahnwaz Hussain led the protest demonstration of RET Teachers from Dak Banglow Ramban to D.C office. They were shouting slogans against the callous approach of the Govt. to make them suffer for want of SSA salary . Later a memorandum of demands was submitted to the government through D.C. At Rajouri protest demonstration was led by State Chief Spokesperson Naresh Sharma and Distt. President Manzoor Khan from C.E.O Office to D.C Office after passing through the main city. The agitating ReT Teachers were Shouting slogans in support of their demands and demanding immediate release of their SSA and other salaries. The similar protests were staged at others district also under the leadership of its districts presidents. |
