Ayurveda awareness programme observed in Samba 11/10/2016 11:01:17 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 10: An Ayurveda awareness programme was observed by Department of Indian System of Medicine Jammu at villages Birpur and Nanga of district Samba. According to press release, the programme organised under the supervision of Director General of ISM, Dr Abdul Kabir Dar and Nodal officer ISM, Samba- Dr Rohit Gupta. In these programs public awareness lectures were delivered by the team of experts highlighting the role of Ayurveda in health promotion and disease prevention. Experts also explained the vision of Ayurveda for building healthy national through healthy families and raised the slogan of "Swasth Parivar Swasth Desh, Ayurved Ka Ghar Ghar Sandesh". Public was also made aware about Yoga, Medicinal Plants, Ritucharya, Dincharya and Sadvrit (Moral Health Code). Public was also made aware about various facilities specialities of Ayurveda and various services being provided by Department of ISM across the district.
