Jammu, Nov 10: Police today claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest since one year. Police spokesman said, "On specific information, an absconder namely Sanjeet Singh of Maheshpura Bakshi Nagar Jammu was arrested from Rotary Chowk." "The accused was evading his arrest from past one year in a case under FIR no 188/2006 under sections 279 and 338 of RPC registered at Police Station Domana," police said. Police further said that warrant of 512 CrPc was issued against the absconder from 3rd Additional Munsiff judicial Magistrate 1st Class Jammu. Police Spokesperson said that the arrest was made by SI Deepak Katoch, In-charge P/P Parade under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga Ajay Bhat, SDPO North Vivek Shekhar and SP North, Dr Vinod Kumar. |
