Jammu, Nov 10: In petition, seeking direction to respondents to stay promotion to the posts of district a sessions judge on the basis of reservation till the final out come of this petition, a high court division bench of Chief Justice N Paul Vsanthakumar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur today issued notice to the Registrar General and sought response from him before the next date of hearing.
During the course of hearing, the petitioner's counsel submitted that GAD had issued a notification on June 21, 2016 wherein it had been provided that the slots meant for reserved category employees were kept vacant till the matter was finally heard and disposed of by the Apex Court would be kept unfilled.
