Locals allege MLA neglecting 'Kalakote constituency' | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 28: Inhabitants of tehsil Triyath in Kalakot Assembly Constituency today have expressed their resentment against the local MLA and Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries for neglecting the people of the area in various development projects. People have warned to come on the roads if Government and the Local MLA continue to neglect the area in near future. "The people of this tehsil still are facing acute shortage of essential commodities including Power, water, road connectivity, ration at fair price shops and shortage of teachers," said Rikhi Ram alleging that the elected representative has forgotten his assembly after being elected. Other residents namely Rakesh Kumar, Girdhari Lal also joined in and alleged they had voted to BJP for the overall development of the area and to mitigate the problems being faced by us. "But even after more than two years the Coalition government in state has failed to mitigate the problems of the people of this Panchyat, they said. "Not only this, more surprisingly, villages like Ping Gala and Bai Nala etc still waiting for electricity and road connectivity since Independence. We are not demanding government jobs but demanding easy availability of basic amenities" rued Om Parkash. They recalled that that the local MLA Abdul Ghani Kohli have been appraised about the problems being faced by the loacls but promises only are doled to us while nothing was done on the ground. They also alleged the local MLA only has helped his blue eyed and continuously is neglecting deserving villages, which fall on the extreme conditions. |
