Jammu, Nov 28:One day convention of NHM employees of all the districts of Jammu division was held today in the presence of Sushil Sudan President Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation. The convention was attended by a large number of NHM employees and various issues related to cadre were discussed in detail. The smoldering demands that need immediate redressal included policy for regularization of NHM employees, equal pay for equal work as per the verdict of Supreme Court should be implemented, transfer policy for NHM employees should be framed, benefit of maternity leave / earned leave / baby care leave etc should be given to NHM employees, fixed wages for Asha workers, in time release of salaries of NHM employees.
At the end of convention, formal provincial body of NHM employees was framed unanimously wherein Rohit Seth Adhoc Provincial President was unanimously elected as formal President of NHM employees for Jammu Division. The other main portfolio holders are Hamid Parray Sr. Vice President, Mohit Seth Vice President, Varinder Gupta Secretary General, Sajad Natnoo General Secretary, Ajay Kumar Secretary, Ashok Sharma Jt. Secretary, Shabnam Saini Jt. Secretary. |
