Jammu, Nov 28: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu today observed "one nation reading together' in the school premises in collaboration with Scholastic India.
According to press release, it is a nationwide event that brings the joy of reading to children. It also provides opportunity to children, parents and students to know the importance of book and libraries for improved reading.
Students of the school brought their own favorite books for reading. It was reading with Joy & fun as they read the books in different areas of the school like stairs, playground, swing area, activity area etc. On this occasion, Principal cum Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima said that children should get chance to find the books they want to read for helping them associate reading with fun. She appreciated the efforts of all teachers in developing the reading habits among the students. |
