| Govt college of education organizes camp on women and health education | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 16: Govt College of Education organized two day camp on 16th and 17th of December on the theme "Women and Health Education".
The female students of the college participated in the program with zeal and enthusiasm. The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr) Renu Goswami, Director Colleges, Higher Education Department , Govt. of J&K, Guest of Honour in the occasion was Dr O.P. Sharma (Vidyarthi), Director, EER&S and the chief patron was Principal of the college Prof. (Dr) Kaushal Smotra.
Prof. (Dr) Renu Goswami addressed the gathering and highlighted that in this progressive and challenging society a women's role has not shown much of change with change in time, she silently plays all her part in multiple role with sincerity and responsibility.
Her total wellbeing is dependent a lot on her total mental and physical health. To have a better quality of life she has to be strong and equipped with proper education to deal with difficulties and thus the theme of the camp has been rightly chosen.
Dr Sindhu Kapoor , Organizing Secretary of the program presented the welcome address and talked about the objective of the theme that healthy and happy girls and woman of the family contribute to stable and healthy families of homes. Technical assistance and media coverage was done by Dr Piyali Arora and Prof Sunita Devi. Others who were presented in the occasion were Prof. Anju Bala, Prof. C.L. Sivgotra and Dr Rupinder Kour. |
