Jammu, Dec 16: Further compounding the miseries of aspirants preparing for Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has put them in fix by scheduling tight examination dates, probably overlapping of Mains-2014 and Prelims-2016. Score of aspirants accused the JKPSC of playing with the career of the candidates by announcing unjustified schedule. "We have been waiting for Mains examinations, the prelims of which was held in 2014, but mains could not held due to floods and then unrest in Kashmir valley, but all of a sudden the JKPSC has come up with a strange examination schedule," said aspirants, adding that the new schedule is almost overlapping two examinations. "The new schedule of examination is giving us tough time, as we are already exhausted preparing for Mains-2014 and the JKPSC without considering has notified date of Prelims 2016," said aspirants, adding that in present context they cannot concentrate on studies. "We are in a fix whether to prepare for mains or spare time for prelims, as both the examinations are of different nature," said aspirants, adding that after waiting for the examinations since past two years, the commission has come out with this disastrous examination schedule. It is pertinent to mention here that JKPSC has rescheduled the examination of the CCE Mains-2014 which could not happen on time due to floods and unrest in Kashmir Valley. In addition the commission has also notified schedule for the CCE prelims examinations 2016. CCE mains-2014 for 51 posts is scheduled on February 11 to February 27, while as CCE prelims-2016 for 277 posts is scheduled on 12 March 2017, which gives only 13-days to the aspirants to prepare. |
